ATAI has built a strong pipeline of rigorous research built on sound design and proof of concept: 10 projects originally funded as pilots have been expanded into full research projects, received additional funding from ATAI because they demonstrated promise in the field.

ATAI has successfully cultivated talented researchers to study key evidence gaps: 35 researchers and 13 PhD students had not yet applied their expertise in rigorous evaluation to the challenges of agricultural development prior to receiving ATAI grants.
