Presentation - Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Meeting: Innovations in Outcome Measurement (Washington, D.C.)
Washington D.C. — The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in collaboration with TechnoServe, Inc. launched an initiative aimed at identifying new, innovative measurement approaches for adoption of technology and practices, productivity and income, as well as how to generate practical business cases for taking innovations to scale. Taking a collaborative approach to implementation, the Foundation convened groups currently working on the cutting edge of measurement and evaluation in agriculture.
ATAI staff member Ben Jaques-Leslie shared a “Microeconomics Perspective of Measurement” from ATAI researchers working on rigorous impact evaluations of agricultural interventions from the perspective of economists and other social scientists.
