Jie Bai is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. Jie’s research focuses on microeconomic issues of firms in developing countries and emerging markets. In addition to working on firm-related topics, she is also interested in the development of rural enterprises and farmer organizations. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in June 2016 and spent one year at Microsoft Research NE prior to joining Harvard Kennedy School.
